Jay Thaker is a native of East Lansing, Michigan, and a 2011 graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor of science in health studies and a bachelor of arts in economics.  He currently resides in Baltimore where he is a candidate for a masters degree in health economics in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.  His academic interests are in the use of tools of economic evaluation for decision making in healthcare administration.
